Earlier this year, a piece from our atelier found its way into one of the most closely watched cultural exhibitions in the Czech Republic. At Rožmberský Palace, inside Prague Castle, the official gifts received by President Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová are now on public display as part of "Gifts for the President from Nearby and Faraway Lands II", and among the protocol gifts selected for the exhibition is the clear crystal pistol from our Signature Collection, presented to President Pavel earlier this year.

It is not, and was never meant to be, a symbol of force. Cut from clear Bohemian crystal, it carries a much older idea: that light passing through crystal is itself a kind of metaphor, for clarity, for truth, for the values a leader is asked to uphold. The custom crystal stand accompanying the piece was engraved for the occasion with a dedication:

"To a President who honors truth, humanity, and responsibility in the spirit of democracy."

President Pavel accepted the piece in a formal meeting, recognizing it as a representation of the centuries of Czech glassmaking craftsmanship behind it, the same craftsmanship behind every piece in our Signature Collection, available in cut crystal, gold-finished, and matte black variants, each with a crystal stand that can be personalized with an engraving of your own.

We don't take lightly what it means for a piece from our workshop to be displayed inside Prague Castle. The gift was also noted in Czech national press coverage of the president's 2025 gifts, in a feature by Novinky.cz. It's proof that this craft still belongs at the center of the table it has always occupied.
