Handling Your Sculpture

• The Two-Hand Rule: Always handle the slipper with both hands. Support the piece by the base (sole) and the heel simultaneously.
• Structural Integrity: Avoid lifting or applying pressure to the delicate edges of the opening or the pointed toe.
• Preserve the Luster: We highly recommend using soft cotton or microfiber gloves when moving the piece to prevent the transfer of skin oils, which can cloud the crystal’s surface over time.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Routine Dusting: Use a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled artist’s brush to gently clear dust from the interior curves and engraved details.
• Polishing: To restore its mirror-like finish, gently buff the surface with a clean, dry optical-grade cloth.
• Spot Cleaning: If a deeper clean is required, lightly dampen a cloth with distilled water. Do not spray liquids directly onto the crystal.
• Prohibited Substances: Avoid all ammonia-based cleaners, industrial glass sprays, or abrasive materials. These chemical solvents and rough textures can micro-scratch the surface and permanently dull the hand-polished finish.
• Thermal Safety: This is a solid crystal display piece. Never submerge it in water. Exposure to extreme temperature changes can cause thermal stress and compromise the crystal.

• Placement: Ensure the slipper is displayed on a stable, level surface in a low-traffic area to prevent accidental tipping.
